Schrock Metal products Inc is looking for a laser operator to join our team! This is a growth opportunity for a motivated candidate with a great attitude. To be considered, Laser Operator must have prior experience in the operation and/or set up of Laser Machines. Laser Operator will be required to set up the machine according to work instructions and prints... Select and set programs based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters. Ability to identify materials by alloy and thickness. Must have good inspection skills with ability to Perform all dimensional inspections using calipers and other precision inspection equipment. Laser Operator must have ability to read drawings and prints, with good basic math skills. Repair or replace worn or defective parts or components, using hand tools Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities Operate a forklift to move material onto machine Debur parts Qualifications: Ability to lift 50 lbs Attention to detail Reliable transportation Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Applicants should apply in person Monday through Thursday 9am-3pm at 13557 Bloomingdale road Akron NY 14001

You will work Monday through Thursday 10 hour days with overtime possible on Friday. Job Duties: Welding: Mig, and Tig Weld on Steel, Stainless and Aluminum components... Drawing comprehension: Ability to read drawings and fabricate from provided components to build light structures, frames, sheet metal components Shop Skills: Set up, adjust, and operate welders, drill press, band saw, plasma cutters, etc. Math Knowledge: Math skills, convert decimals to fractions, and read a tape measure/ Caliper
