I see that some are still following us on Facebook. Thank you. Due to our age and this pandemic, we took our listing off of Air BnB and are still not comfortable opening our doors for concern of our own safety and the safety of others, especially those in our community. Let’s all hope that this pandemic comes to an end soon! Hope you all understand.

As a reminder, we are now using the Air B and B venue. We only are renting the Winter Room (queen), Summer Room (king or twins with advance notice) and the Spring Room (king). We no longer serve a complete breakfast..just fruit, homemade muffins or cake, and coffee, tea. All bedrooms have private baths, electric fireplaces and air conditioners. Our hospitality, though, is consistent and we have acquired the status of Super Host on Air b n b! Prices vary depending on Air b and b flexible pricing during the off season, but are consistent for the busy months.

It is April and there is some fresh snow on the little bit of exposed lawn I raked two days ago! Skiing at Gore until Apr 21, they say. It was a good ski day on Thurs. Strategy is to ski the lower mountain and the morning and move to the upper in the afternoon, eat lunch a little later than usual, then go home a little earlier. Hiking season coming up. Check the DEC website for conditions that change day to day around here!

Fall is a great time to challenge yourself to a high peak, but Rocky Ridge in the rain was rough for the old lady. Joe is a great guide and son!

The Tumble Inn Air bnb will be closed from Sept 29 until further notice due to Nancy's hip surgery and recovery. We hope you will return again when things are back to normal.

Last year, one of our guests lost a very sentimental item. They unsuccessfully retraced their steps throughout the Adirondack park to search for it. Lo and behold, yesterday, one if our guests spotted the item and returned it. I cannot remember the names of the guests who lost the item. I didn't realize until today that people were leaving me messages for reservations on this site. I apologize. I want to reiterate that we now use the Air B and B venue and direct phone calls for reservations and only for the "Winter, Summer and Spring" rooms. Our breakfast is no longer a 5 course feast at 8:30, but we put out muffins, fruit and coffee/tea with no specific time to accommodate different guest schedules.
