We had a great crowd at our Science Spotlight last Monday with Dr. Tammo Reichgelt. Dr. Reichgelt taught us how we can use plants to track climate change in the past and learn about the future of our planet. He also offered an interesting example from his own research of how scientific results can get misreported in the media

Dr. Cristofari gave a great talk last week! Metapopulations of Frontiers of Science Students: asking wonderful questions!

Science Spotlight 17.03.2021

Science Spotlight TONIGHT at 7pm in 1000 Fairchild!

Science Spotlight 05.03.2021

Dr. Reichgelt is next up on Science Spotlight! His talk, Plants track climate change, we will explore Earth’s climate from the perspective of plants. We will focus on the stories about the ancient Earth locked in plant fossils, as well as what changes plants currently have to endure and how they adapt to the future. Don't miss it on Monday (3/26) at 7pm in 1000 Fairchild (note location difference)!
