What an awesome week of fun diving with a bunch of friends and past students. We recently spent some time diving in a quarry in Pelham, Alabama for some practice and then off to the Gulf to dive ‘THE MIGHTY O’ (USS Oriskany). Once we finished the trimix class and diving in salt water, we had to rinse our gear of course so we headed to the fresh water caves in North Florida of a week. Everyone had a great time and we learned a thing or two also!

Great 2 days of diving ‘THE MIGHTY O’. Its the largest man made reef on the planet and there is so much to see! *****TRIP ALERT***** Cave diving trip.... Here is my plan. If you want to join in, please feel free to make arrangements for your stay at any part of this trip or for the entire thing. It became to much for me to track who may or may not show up so accomodations are on you guys. (I hope you understand)... For the first part of the trip I will be staying at High Springs Country Inn (checking in on 28th and checking out on 30th) 9/28 : Ginnie Springs (make sure you have your c-cards or pics) 9/29 : Little River I will check out HSCI on 30th and drive to Dive Outpost where I will checking in on 30th and check out on 10/2 9/30 : Peacock/OG 10/1 : Grand Traverse attempt I will be checking on the AM of 10/2 and heading to Madison Blue for a single dive (fills are too far). After diving in Madison Blue, I will be heading to Marianna Fl for a few weeks of diving and teaching. 10/2 : Madison Blue 10/3 - 10/6 : MERRITTS MILL POND Its a great opportunity to see some pretty cool caves with some pretty cool people. If you want to join us for the whole trip or any part there of, please make your own accommodation arrangements. Everything else is easy peasy! For those that arent familiar with the sites, 30%-32% EANx is ideal. All other gear should be your standard cave diving gear (leave the DSMBs and snorkels at home! HOPE TO SEE YA THERE!
