Ommmmmmmmmmmm. I just learned that this simple word used in yoga is actually the whole universe coalesced into a single word, representing the union of mind, body, and spirit. Wow! I did not know that when I created this meditation room back at the Hampton Designer Showhouse in 2017. I did know that having a quiet place to relax and reflect is important for our health and well-being. I think that is true now more than ever. Yesterday it was raining so hard in Southampton, my dog spent two minutes on our beach walk before turning around and heading back to the car. I came across this photo from our recent #eastquogue project and thought, wouldn't it be nice to have breakfast in this dining room with the fireplace roaring?
