Finished up two more solar sites in Northern NY this week. Sometimes this work is more of an adventure than a job...

We finally staked the first home in Treybrook Subdivision in the Town of Van Buren, the future home of the "Parade of Homes". We also staked the OCWA water main. Montroy Development and Billy Smith Development have endured extremely wet conditions to get this tract to this point.

Working on our 6th upstate solar farm design survey. Putting technology and power to work yesterday. Found remnants of an ancient Virginia split rail fence along a couple of the boundary lines. These are becoming pretty rare around here.

In over 3 decades of surveying, I never found a concrete stump. This was about 1500' into the woods. With rotted wood around the base it looks like it was poured into a hollow stump. Pretty ancient looking...
