Roughly three months after we finished the basic tracking on SWANS My Father Will Guide Me Up a Rope to the Sky in 2010, Michael Gira came back to Seizures Pala...ce and we began work on the bonus disc for the Special Edition of the CD release. It was approached similarly to the Body Haters bonus track we had worked on together a few years before for the Body Lovers/Body Haters reissue. Sort of a collage of existing parts of individual instruments from the album combined with new performances overdubbed on top. I was asked to play more violin in parts - I didn't realize how much until listening back to it now. We eventually ran out of time and it was finished with Kevin McMahon upstate near where Michael was living then.
