2020 BC (Before Covid).

Blood donations are down nationwide since the beginning of the year and we want to help! The Walden Fire Department is hosting a Blood Drive TOMORROW, Monday, ...July 27, 2020 from Noon - 6pm at the firehouse. Appointments are strongly encouraged, however walk-ins are welcome as long as capacity allows and social distancing is maintaned. Donors' temperatures will be screened upon entry and facial coverings are required are all times. Hope to see you there!!

Hi Everyone, We hope you're all doing well and making the best of the time we all have. Just a quick update. We still don't have a realistic time frame as of to when we will be permitted to open. In the meantime, we're working on planning our updated class schedules, class size structures, cleaning/sanitizing supplies and equipment and allocating time for sanitizing between classes. How about a smile?

A shout out to all my students. I miss you all and hope you are well. Tomorrow will mark the longest period in more than 20 years that I have gone without practicing. This is very disheartening.

Before this crisis, I considered adding morning meditation sessions. Here is a useful tool to help you combat nervousness, stress, anxiety. Mindful breathing can help you take your mind off the future or the past and bring you home to the present moment. First, stop. Stop what you are doing. Then focus on your breathing. Think about your breath as you are breathing in and think about your breath as you are breathing out. Stop and take a few breaths any time you feel anxiety. Stop and bring your mind back to your self.

NYS Executive order 202.3 Any gym, fitness centers or classes, and movie theaters shall also cease operation effective at 8 pm on March 16, 2020 until further notice.

Notice: The latest updated Executive Order from Governor Cuomo puts us in the category of businesses that must close. We are not a gym, but we do offer classes and so we have been ordered to close until April. I will keep you posted.
