This week’s project profile highlights the Georgia Pacific Tank cleaning and demolition located in Bradford Pennsylvania. Our Sessler Environmental Services team developed a flow process for cleaning and closing the tank in line with the safety requirements and regulations required by the GP team. From there, our SES crew removed and transported the cleaned tank to an off-site facility for recycling. Sessler Environmental Services was called upon by Berry Plastics, located in Macedon, NY to help remove and abate several steam lines and hazardous materials within its industrial facility. Our team abated several long, steam line chases and removed two layers of vinyl flooring along with the underlying mastic. We additionally cleaned up and remediated multiple mercury spill locations and disposed of all hazardous materials to a DEC approved location.
