Several years ago Mr Horton joined our ranks as a volunteer. He was shortly moved to employment status after proving to be an exemplary member and currently serves as our first full time employee. Today he became a paramedic, the highest level offered by NYS. Congratulations and what an accomplishment!!

We would like to wish Deputy Shannon Augustine a happy retirement. Deputy Augustine has been involved in many emergencies in our town for the last 2 decades as a Madison County Sherriff and EMT. She has no doubt affected many lives in the local towns being first on scene and rendering aid until EMS arrived. Congratulations on your retirement Shannon. Enjoy the days with your kids, you’ve earned it!!

This is what Volunteering looks like.... 605 calls for 2019, 12 hour paid medic, 24 hour volunteer driver. The folks listed below clock in religiously for duty night. They then cover calls from home. Mr Taylor (EMT) also sits at the Station every Monday and Thursday but does not clock in. Also listed are the amount of hours spent in the ambulance on calls
