EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Following a strong recommendation from the Governor’s Office the DMV drive-through window will no longer be open. Any transactions that were previously dropped off will be processed and returned by mail.... Dealers may drop off dealer work in the lobby of the DMV and will be returned by appointment.

Cortland DMV is now open for Drive Up Window transactions Only M - F. 8:30 - 12:30 The following transactions will be accepting for drop off and pick up through the drive through window Dealer transactions (include blank check)... Person to person new registrations (include blank check) Registration renewals including vehicles, trailers, boats, etc (include check) License plate surrenders (check or cash) Payment will be accepted by check only and all transactions that are dropped off will be available for pick up in one week.
