What do you guys think is the relationship between the author and his work? Do you think that we, as readers, perceive a writing piece differently if we have a significant amount of background knowledge on the author? If so, how does that knowledge influence our perception of the writing?

Small groups and big dreams, attending SFC means being closer to mentors and classmates.

Always think about your language: what is it you are trying to communicate and whether your message is going through as you intend it. What language works best for what you are trying to say? Do your words evoke emotions you wish to evoke? Monitoring the pulse of your story means monitoring the pulse of the words you use.
