We know it’s hot, and High Falls is beautiful, but swimming is not permitted, and not safe. Our staff spend hours every week cleaning up trash like dirty diaper...s, bottles, and other waste left behind from weekend visitors. This week they had to cut down an unsafe rope swing (climbing rocks is also not permitted) from the top of the falls. We notice many people access the base of the falls by scrambling down the social or unmarked trails near the overlook this is really dangerous and we do not want to see anyone get hurt. Please respect the site and your fellow visitors by staying on marked trails, taking your trash with you, and following all posted swimming rules. Thank you! See more
