This was an event that I was involved in with Georgetown called the Wall Street Alliance Scholarship Dinner. I am the Professional Development Chair with the Georgetown in New York Club. This was the 32nd Anniversary Gala for the Aesclepius Medical Society. The society volunteers its time to do humanitarian and predominately medical work in Haiti. The event honored several women, including Michelle March, who volunteered here time on medical missions in Haiti. I was invited as Michelle March's guest, because I had done pro bono work on behalf of a Haitian client, who had a medical condition which allowed our firm to request asylum. After four years of work, the case was approved by the Immigration Judge in March 2017.
