This one hour, mixed level class, uses Poles (that are sanitized) to dee...pen Yoga Poses and offer different ways to experience stretching, strengthening and balance in a whole new way. The poles are fun, effective, useful tools to bring MORE to your practice. The Sacred Body Series starts on September 17th. It is a 4 week series really about honoring the body we live in, changing the way we view or judge our bodies and cultivating more pleasure, more bliss in this body now. It's Thursday night at 7:15 pm, right after Terri's Intro to Pole Dance class. Both of these are full. However, we are both open to adding additional classes if there is enough interest. We will have discussion, meditation, writing, dancing... intuitively moving our feminine bodies, shaking the hips and using the poles, walls, maybe chairs. And some relaxing yoga stretches.

August Pole Shakti Classes are still happening, but with a new twist...lol. Terri Murray, owner of Studio Chrome, a pole dance studio up in Glens Falls and Clifton Park, will be teaching all of the classes in August. She is a sweet, talented, vivacious teacher with over 10 years of experience. NOT TO BE MISSED. This is due to me twisting my ankle and incurring a pretty bad injury. So I will be part of the classes in some way, just not on my feet.

Taught my first private Shakti Pole class yesterday for this wonderful group of new moms. It was so much fun, even with the masks and keeping our distance. PRIVATE GROUP LESSONS AVAILABLE! Good and Sad News. The good news is that I am officially open to offer therapeutic massages and Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy!!! The sad news is that New York... State has said that gyms, fitness centers and studios are not able to open at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions.
