Reminder that there are so many wonderful animals who are looking for homes. Consider fostering or adopting a rescue dog or cat for the holidays.

Potential big snowstorm coming this Wednesday into Thursday. Please make sure your furry four-legged friends are safe and warm inside with you. Dogs are not to be tethered outside in these sorts of weather events. Woof!

Hey, Everyone. Here are some more photos of our Dear Boy Cass with this new Family. Cass also has a canine brother named LB and his family says it is like the two of them have been brothers all along. Cass sleeps under the covers at the foot of his Human's bed. We couldn't be happier for Cass and his family. #adoptashelterpet

CASS Has Been ADOPTED!!! Yea! Now we need a home for Lola. She is all alone and needs a forever home! Lola Sweet Older Female 6 or 7 yr. old. Friendly when ...not fenced. Chow/Lab mix. No other Cats/Dogs. Likes to play outside. Fenced in yard preferable. She loves all her toys and would rather play with them & sleep with them then tear them apart. Helping the Town of Shandaken to maintain the Dog Park is another thing SAVE does in addition to helping Shandaken dogs and cats in need. Any and and all volunteers are needed and welcome to help keep this park safe for our dog and human friends. Please contact Joyce Grant if you can help. Woof!
