Thank you to Andrew of Troop 40 in Hopewell Junction! For his Eagle Scout Project Andrew chose to restore the 1.6 mile Geology Trail at Sharpe Reservation. Andrew coordinated at least 16 scouts from his troop and together they put in 371 hours to remark, reroute sections of trail, remove debris, put down wood chips, install posts at interpretive stops and, update the trail guide. The crew worked tirelessly during their spring break. This was an amazing effort and a great contribution to the trail system at Sharpe Reservation. Everyone at Sharpe Reservation is grateful to Andrew for his leadership on this project.
