Congrats to Aiden Paul and McCarthy Lang!! Roy-Hart’s McCarthy Lang won the N-O girls title The Medina duo of Aiden Paul and Dylan Lonnen finished 1-3 n the individual competition and Akron captured its first team title in 30 years at the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League golf tournament held today at Willowbrook.... Paul shot an 83 over 18 holes to claim the individual title. Wilson’s Nathan Meyers finished second with an 85 and Lonnen third with an 86. Albion’s Nick Newton shot an 88 to share fourth place with Newfane’s Sam Capen and Barker’s Joel Harris. Roy-Hart’s McCarthy Lang won the N-O girls title with a 97. Akron, which last claimed the N-O title in 1990, took top team honors with a score of 485 to lock up the season’s championship. Wilson finished second at the tourney with a score of 494 followed by Newfane 496, Medina 515, Barker 523, Roy-Hart 534 and Albion incomplete. For the season, Akron took first place honors with a total of 28.5 points followed by Newfane 25.5, Medina 20, Wilson 17, Barker 14, Albion 4 and Roy-Hart 3.

Congratulations on Team Dave Wagner for defeating Team Ian Wagner in the 2020 Shelridge Ryder Cup! Dave Wagner's team defeated Ian's Team 23 to 12. Twenty-eight players participated in this event. The event had 9 holes each of Best Ball, 2-Man Scramble, Alternate Shot, followed by 14 Singles Matches.... Team Dave Wagner was led by Eric Roca and Butch Stupnik, who both went 4-0 in the event. Ray Neuman was also undefeated with a record of 3-0-1. James Tee posted a record of 2-1-1 to lead Ian Wagner's team. Finally, congratulations to Tim Moriarity for his Hole-in-One on #12 Sunday! Thanks to all that participated in this fun event!!!
