Hello everyone, a few updates to share: Regarding the COVID-19 situation, all classes have been moved to online instruction from March 12 to the end of the semester. CUNY schools, dorms, libraries, research facilities, day care centers remain open. Also, the Center for Jewish History (CJH) Cinema & Sanctuary panel discussion and film screening on 3/16/20 has also been cancelled.... We are in the midst of unfortunate circumstances, but we can only do our best to stay safe. Some tips I have found helpful: Wash your hands upon getting to work or school, if you need to cough, please do so into your elbow to avoid contaminating your hands and avoid crowded spaces whenever possible. Please exercise caution, even if you are not likely to have any severe effects from this virus, there are others for whom it may be more serious. All my best to you all! - Dalton Whiteside

Another wonderful talk about CCNY's famous basketball history and the winning 1950 season when we won both the NCAA & NIT championships, and the subsequent point shaving scandal. It's an amazing story! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paGRIV5muho&authuser=0

Have a listen to Gilbert 'Gil' Seltzer's memories of his service in the World War II Ghost Army. Mr. Seltzer is currently 104 years old and is the architect of CCNY's 1961 Administration Building along with William Gehron (1887-1958). https://storycorps.org//it-was-funny-it-was-distasteful-i/
