Shimmering Light Farm & Renewal Center will be renting 4 rooms in our Renewal House for 5 months from Feb 2021-June 2021. We have two fantastic applicants and are seeking two more. Have you longed to try living in community? To experience the joys and challenges and work with Non-Viole...nt Communications and Restorative Practices to learn how to live well together? Positive outlook, good self-awareness and responsibility needed. Skills that are relevant to an educational farm a plus. Limited work trade hours possible. Adults only. The Renewal House is a cheery Cape Cod located on Hicks Road in South Bristol and features: Bright, roomy living areas 4 fully furnished bedrooms Fireplace Quiet, bucolic surroundings with walking/x-country trails Wrap-around porch Star gazing and fire pit Weekly community dinner Includes utilities and laundry 45 minute drive from downtown Rochester Half way between Canandaigua and Naples Intrigued? Grateful for all the Beings who grew soil, food, medicine, community and sanctuary together this summer! Savoring a quiet, rainy morning to reflect a bit. Sometimes it feels amidst the countless needs of the world that we are not doing enough. Plans are underway to make this sanctuary more accessible to more folx. In the meantime, we are remembering to count the blessings that are present now.. Greatest gratitude to all of our more-than-human kin and all the farm members who work joyfully together, inspire one another and spread the abundant love, produce, and healing balms to many in need.
