Please welcome back our seasonal and very limited edition, Matsutake Dobimushi. You can find this on our dinner menu, served in an earthenware teapot with shrimp, matsutake mushroom and a broth with the comforting essence of matsutake with a side of lime. Matsutake is a rare, highly sought-after pine mushroom due to its growth requirements and the scarcity of the appropriate tree environment. It is most well known for its distinct, spicy, nourishing aroma and is typically available during the fall and winter.
Due to popular demand, we are introducing our Sukiyaki hot pot (beef rib eye shown here) to our lunch menu! Hot pots are great for sharing and it is one of our best selling dishes from our dinner menu.
Please welcome our newest addition to the 49th Street cafe menu, Chicken Teriyaki Don. This dish includes chicken teriyaki, onions, shredded dry seaweed over a bed of rice. Ginger on the side. You can find this and many others at our cafe behind Shinbashi Restaurant, located on 49th Street between 5th and Madison.
