Our Chef de Cuisine @ladychefnewyork was on vacation, back home in Germany, when she found out her trip would have to be cut short due to the borders closing. While necessary, it also come with mixed feelings. Upon returning to New York, she wanted to make something to remind her of home and prevent her from getting sick. As a kid, she always had chicken noodle soup to get well as soon as possible when she was sick, or just to prevent her from getting sick in general. While chicken noodle soup is very common for people to have during flu season, the way this recipe is made reminds her of home. If you make this recipe at home, please show us and let us know what you think! @ New York, New York

#ShunNYC's signature bufferfly with calamansi gelee and raspberry compote.
Out of an abundance of caution, Shun and Bar Shun are closing temporarily for a deep cleaning. As we plan to reopen this weekend, please check back in for more information. Thank you for your patronage, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
I lived in Japan for 18 years before opening Shun. Seasonal eating is so ingrained in their way of life; that was a big inspiration, and something I wanted to bring to NYC." - Culinary Director @alain_verzeroli on #ShunNYC's ever-changing menus.
A winter favorite. Foie gras torchon with sweet potato and lemon marmalade.
We've saved you a seat this Saturday night. Reserve your spot at #BarShun by visiting our #linkinbio.
Your #ShunNYC experience isn't complete without dessert...or @chefsmartone's yuzu, hazelnut and azelia cremeux, for that matter.
Brighten up your day (and palate) with our signature Long Island spiced duck with orange agrodolce and radicchio.
Culinary Director @alain_verzeroli seamlessly topping off #ShunNYC's coco bean velouté with black truffle and leek.
A cocktail that will transport you right to the tropics. Sixteen Hours to Cancun: Vida Mezcal, El Tesoro tequila blanco, Dassai 50, passion fruit, and yuzu.
