Attention Members, 2/18/18 It is with great sadness that we regret to inform you that Sidney Fitness will be closing effective Sunday, February 18. We apologize for the short notice, but negotiations broke down unexpectedly with the landlord this week, giving us little chance to react.... Please contact us at: [email protected] Regarding your membership: - it will automatically be cancelled at the end of February. you may continue to use our other facilities in Greene (showers) and Walton until the end of the month (your access card will automatically work there) - you may transfer your membership to either of these facilities for $29.99 per month by sending us an eMail if you have a locker, please eMail us with the locker number and description of the contents so that we can arrange their return to you - if you are due a credit for your membership dues, we will automatically send you a refund check via regular mail starting March 1. Please send us an updated mailing address if you are unsure if we have your most recent address. Please do not try to dispute any recent payments with your bank or card as that will only serve to delay your refund. The accounts from which funds would be taken have been closed. Most EFT members were not charged for memberships in the month of February. - if you have other outstanding membership or account questions, please eMail us and they will be addressed It has been a pleasure to serve the Sidney and surrounding community for the past 10 years as the first 24/7 health club in NY state. We are closing due to ongoing differences with the landlord over the last several years that have been fomented by the intentional actions of several former employees, including their spread of misinformation to the landlord and you, the members. E.g. we had no idea we'd be closing until 2/16, so any advertisements to the contrary were fabricated. Although we may be back in Sidney soon, we recommend making arrangements to continue at either our Greene or Walton locations. If you know of a great location in Sidney, Bainbridge, or Unadilla for us to reopen in, please send us that tip.
