Simply Sweet Sugar Shack

Monday was our last boil of the season. Since we do it the old fashioned way the sap has now stopped running and it's time to clean up. We had an outstanding season making approx. 80 gallons of syrup. Now time to go out and discover new recipes! We've already made maple covered pnuts, maple cream and this weekend we'll do maple candy BACON!!! Syrup is ready to sell so pass it on to your friends and family and have a simply sweet day!

A big thanks to all who have stopped in to purchase our syrup this season. We are so glad you are enjoying it. Trying to break the 100 gallon mark this week. We will try to let you know when the next boil will be so you can come out and see how it's done!

Wow what a week so far with collections and boiling. We are currently up to 70 plus gallons of sryup so far and still climbing. Grade A Light and Medium Amber syrup are ready for purchase and we are in the works for Maple Cream! We will let everyone know when it's ready to go.

Another great day for boiling! It is cold and blustery outside but warm and sweet smelling in the shack! We have now started making Medium Amber syrup. Will let you know when it's ready to sell.

Syrup for the 2013 season is for sale! We've made 30 gallons so far of wonderfully sweet grade A Light Amber! Some call it Fancy! It is so yummy.
