Simply Amazed

In case you missed it: Marvelous Occasions turned 1 today! The past 365 days have been a whirl wind. I accomplished so much in year #1, some of my favorite ...accomplishments are below: - Had 24 consultations with couples - Booked with 19 clients, soon to be 20 - Executed 5 weddings - Became a certified Timeline Genius - Became an officially ordained minister I won’t even lie and say it’s been easy. This year has been a challenge, between working my full time day job, running a business, maintaining a social life, and balancing normal life duties, I have been incredibly busy this year. I seem to always be on the run, going to meetings, or working on the next task. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. There is nothing more satisfying than being paid for a job you love doing. And watching my business grow and bloom has filled my heart with so much happiness. I have to take a moment and thank some special people for all of their support of me and my business. I truly could not do it with out them To my boyfriend Davidson, thank you so much for acting as my business manager and helping me run the business side of things. From creating my entire business plan, to helping me restructure my payment schedule, you have given me so much knowledge to better run my business. You also have been my #1 supporter, always cheering me on through my successes as cheering my up through my short comings. My business would not have taken off as well had you not been my rock through it all. Thank you for your support To my mom Cheri, thank you for acting as my book keeper and helping me navigate the world of record keeping and taxes. You also are always there to listen to me brag about my achievements, or listen to me vent and complain about any stressors. Your support and guidance means the world to me To my friends and family, thank you for your support of my business, and of me. I know it’s not easy to make plans with me when I am so frequently busy, and sometimes I end up having to cancel those plans anyways. But not once has anyone given me a hard time about it. Everyone has been nothing but kind and supportive of me through all of my ups and my downs. Also, a special thank you to my friends who are also my business contacts, Mary Makes ‘Em and Simply Amazed. It has been a great pleasure to support each other’s businesses as we both grow together.
