With all of the other "things" that a financial advisor does, much of it is done behind-the-scenes. This video goes over some of the learning, educating and staying up-to-date on so many topics that we need to be fresh on. Do we know everything? Some of us like think so, but no way... Many times an advisor will need to dig deeper for their client and get back to them, but the base knowledge covered in this video makes the process of researching a little bit easier, and dare I say, fun?! Make it a great day!

Who wants personalized monthly videos from their Financial Advisor?! Ok, maybe not everybody, but our clients get them! We do not always expect a response or any "action" item to come from it, but we do want our clients to know that we are always thinking about them...and of equal importance, we are covering all of these items when we are planning. When the year is completed our clients feel at-ease knowing that someone is looking our for all of these things and taking care of them. Watch the video to see and hear the 12 topics that we cover in our monthly videos. Make it a great day!

Today we wrap up part 2 of some always interesting Tax Planning... and we complete #36 of what Financial Advisors do. 1) What is your marginal tax bracket? What does that mean? 2) How much do you REALLY pay in taxes? How can we reduce that?... 3) Should you be saving in a 401k/403b or Roth IRA? 4) What is the best account to take my money FROM in retirement? Tax planning will help us answer these questions and many more...but for now, make it a great day!

Today we talk about the extremely exciting topic of taxes... We know, there are better things to do. But, this is a very important part of real financial planning. It can help someone save thousands and even millions over time! 1) How much did you actually pay in taxes last year? 2) How can we make adjustments to lower that amount?... 3) How can take advantage of the tax bracket that you are in? 4) How much should you contribute to your investments accounts? Which account makes the most sense? We will get into this and more, but it all starts with getting our clients tax returns. Once we have that, we can normally add a tremendous amount of value with some small adjustments. Part 2 of this video will get more into tax brackets, investment accounts and even some information about Medicare! Who knew that financial advisors did this?!

Today, we are wrapping up #101 of the 119 Things That Advisors Do. Asset-Map Part 2 gets into how we organize and get everything on to one page... We have done this for business owners, public school employees, @RGE, @RochesterRegionalHealth, @Delphi and so many more...and each time it has been beneficial and really helped people simplify what they have going on. This allows us to easily show clients the answers to: Where are all of our accounts? What are they called? How ar...e they working together for us? Is there anything that we can consolidate to make this easier? Where are our insurances? Are they the proper policies for us? ...And more. Make it a great day!
