Anger is one of the most prominent emotions in the range of emotions. We all get angry sometimes, but with different levels of intensity, frequency and expression. Anger has a positive aspect, it can be liberating and motivate action and change. But it also has a negative aspect; it can cause judgmental thinking and emotional harm, pain and even physical injury to the person who feels anger and to the people around them. Usually, anger is a mask for another emotion that hides beneath it. If we can recognize it, we can deal with the difficulty directly and in so doing, reduce the intensity of the anger.
