Remembering our beloved friend Susan Barber, a veteran in the travel industry. Our dear Susan passed away at Mt. Sinai Hospital on 19 Oct 2020. There is a service for Susan at St. James Church, 865 Madison Avenue, between 71st and 72nd Streets on Tuesday, December 1st at 2:00pm. Susan loved St. James's Church and was deeply involved there. Her ashes will be interred in their Columbarium.... The Church has requested that anyone who plans on attending the service should let Rosa Gentile know at, [email protected]. Alternately, to participate in the service via ZOOM please reach out to Ms. Miness to receive the link. [email protected]. May She Rest in Peace.

Just wanted to share that last week I was deeply humbled and honored to accept an award from Women in Travel & Tourism International (WITTI) as one of the Top Women in Travel and Tourism. There were more than 80 nominees from around the world and 7 Skalleagues were among 36 women recognized. During my remarks, I was delighted to be able to explain the tremendous impact of Micato Safaris. The event took place at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, FL and was keynoted by President Obama.
