Happy 2021 to our members and the Skaneateles Community! While we are taking down our outside holiday greenery (while it is not covered in snow!), we have decided to keep our interior window candles up for the month of January. To help "light the darkness" during these challenging times. The museum is still closed at this time, but if you are need of assistance, please call or email, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Take Care all, and stay well.

While we are closed to the public for the time being, as a proactive measure with the alarming rise of COVID cases in the area, we want to let our members and community friends know we are thinking about them. Stay well.

As a proactive measure, the Board of Directors of the SHS voted to close the facility, effective immediately. This action was taken in an abundance of caution because of the area COVID numbers rising so dramatically. Their responsibility to the health and safety of our volunteers and visitors was paramount in their decision. Hannum St. is open today - not sure when the DPW will be back to finish the paving project! Our gift shop is stocked with wonderful gifts to get your holiday shopping started. Including the 2020 stained glass ornament from the First Presbyterian Church. And back by popular demand, a very limited number of the 2019 ornament from St. Mary's. Open Saturday, 11/1, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Stop in. The Past Is Here ~

If you have the 1962, 1963 or 1964 Skaneateles phone directories in a box in your attic, please contact us. We would love to fill in our archives collection with these missing editions!
