Doing lessons on December 11th and still riding outside! Warm temps and sunshine = happy horses & happy riders! #skibbereenfarm #bestfootingnomattertheweather
Attached article is about my best friends' daughter. Although it is about skiing and not riding, it is still worth the read. Knowing Parker personally, she is determined and committed. She goes to bed early, she eats healthy, she studies hard and takes her schoolwork seriously, while she is committed to working hard to get better and succeed at her sport. She's not just sitting around, taking selfies, and complaining about the horses or the judging. I challenge my riders... to read this article, look into the mirror and assess your own attitude. I can't wait to see who's dropping their stirrups, reading more, learning more, practicing more, and taking their health and mental well being seriously. Be like Kobe...... be like Parker....... I look to forward to seeing your progress. Show me riders..... https://skiracing.com/taylor-parker-biele-is-my-hero/
First Skibbgiving food drive was a success! Thank you to all who donated and special thanks to Jennifer Hemingway and Liz Walla for coordinating and delivering!
Final regular season show for the IEA team, and what a way to end it with a bang! Middle school was Champion high point team. Clare Jacobs was middle school high point rider winning both of her classes. Molly Gfroerer was first and second, Kylie won her flat class and the walk trot riders were first through third. High school was Reserve champion high point team. Mae Kraetz was first and second, Hannah won her jumping class, Mara was 2nd in both of hers as well. Ally Dann ha...d her best ride of the season and the rest of the team rode great as well. So proud today of all the great riding and the lessons learned. Thanks to Gabby for being a great assistant coach! Now on to Regionals!
