*Some important dates for orders to keep in mind! * The challenge this year is that there is no way to predict how the next few weeks are going to go. We have already run into many backordered titles. So badly backordered that they won't arrive for Christmas. On the other hand, if its in our store, we will have the order ready that day for you.... ~ USPS priority mail order date by 12/9. ( if you would like us to mail said order) ~Order sent to the shop by 12/19( special order from the publisher to be sent to the store) ~Curbside order by 12/22 (if the book is available in the shop) Thank you all for your understanding and support this year! This community is amazing and our customers too!

On This #primeday , remember that amazon won’t reinvest all its money in your neighborhood to keep local cafes, restaurants, services, and school thriving. #shoplocal Last time we checked, one of the many things to consider on #primeday, if you prefer shops that pay local taxes, offer community building events, bookstores who offer non-algorithm recommendations remember to #shoplocal. Where you’ll be greeted with a *real* smile from your community owned businesses and not so...me arrow that looks like one. When you shop at an independently-owned business, your entire community benefits. ~Spend $100 at a local shop and $68 of that stays in your community. SPend the same $100 at a national chain, and your community sees $43. ~Local businesses create higher-paying jobs for our neighbors. ~More of your taxes are reinvested in your community- where they belong. ~Buying local means less packaging, less transportation, and a small carbon footprint. ~Shopping in a local business district means less infrustruce, less maintenance and more money to beautify your community. ~Local retailers are your friends and your neighbors- support then and they’ll support you. ~Local businesses donate to charities at more than twice the rate of national chains. ~More independent means more choices , more diversity, and a truly unique community. Covid-19 has impacted all small businesses in some way. They need you more than ever this year. Start shopping now for the holiday season. Think small business before you click. #decidedlydifferent #saranaclake #thiscommunityrocks #shoplocal #bookshop #shoplocal
