Everyone at the Sloatsburg American Legion is excited about this year's Christmas Visit by Santa Claus for Sloatsburg children up to 10 years old. The big event takes place on Saturday, December 14, from 9am through almost 3pm (with a rain date of 12/21). We look forward to partnering this year with the Sloatsburg Fire Department. Listen for the siren in your neighborhood! Sloatsburg Veterans -- the annual food basket for Thanksgiving will be distributed on Saturday, November 23, from 9am to 11am at Village Hall. A great thanks goes out to Korean War Veteran Rich Jarcho for his generosity and helping hand. ALL Veterans are invited to take part in this event. Hope to see all of Sloatsburg's vets there.
