We were thrilled to be able to have a Halloween parade today for our parents. The kids were so excited! Our prayers were answered with the weather. Chilly but no snow! Thank you to our wonderful staff and parent helpers! Happy Halloween!

This week, each classroom displayed the pinwheels they created as part of the Pinwheels for Peace Project. Thank you Mrs. Ekross and our artists for channeling the virtues and mission of the Academy into a wonderful project. Drive by the rectory to take a look!

St. Mary’s Academy is ready to welcome students back! Mrs. Van Liew and Mrs. Keeney introduced temperature checks and hand sanitizing upon entering at the Meet and Greet. Students were able to visit their classrooms and teachers in preparation for the first day of school.

Dear St. Mary’s Academy Community, This is a CALL TO ACTION.. The US Senate is currently considering a coronavirus relief package that includes aid to K-12 schools. Currently, there is language in the legislation allowing non-public schools to receive relief. However, it appears that some are attempting to remove this language. Please see below a link to a new USCCB Action Alert that highlights our request that Congress set aside 10% of any funds for K12 education to... go to scholarships for families that attend private schools. We need your help to circulate this link as widely as possible this week! Please help by sharing this link with your email lists, social media and any other communication form you have!
