They say when life hands you lemons, you're supposed to make lemonade right? Well, Tammy and Nate sure did make the sweetest lemonade on their wedding day. We don't get to choose whether we'll have sunshine or raindrops on our wedding day. Or if there will be a pandemic that takes away our chance to have the wedding we planned. But we do get to choose our partners and how we decide to handle those lemons.... Aside from the masks, you never would have known that this wasn't the wedding that they had dreamed of this past year. A big congratulations to you both, not only for tying the knot, but also for making the best of an unexpected change in plans.

This year has been unprecedented to say the least. Not many of us have escaped without having suffered a loss of some kind. We have all been challenged with having to improvise, adapt and overcome. Today, we are celebrating the love and union of such an amazing couple, who have graciously done just that. ... It takes a special kind of couple to carry on through tough times with such finesse. We are honored to be a part of the celebration for Tammy and Nate, and proud to see their love win above the adversity that COVID-19 has brought us all.

If you've ever wondered if any of our couples have "gotten lit" for a session with us... After Cassey and Sammy's session, the answer is now, YES! If you'd have asked us ten years ago, if we ever thought we would photograph a couple with matching light-up outfits, we'd probably have laughed at you!

A lovely little trip to Alexandria Bay overlooking the St. Lawrence was just the perfect way to spend a summer evening with this especially 'colorful' couple! They kept their outfits a surprise until we got there for their session, and wow did they sparkle!

We've been waiting quietly and patiently to be able to photograph an engagement session for what seems like forever! We were so privileged to meet up with Stacey, Matt and sweet little Dolly to celebrate their engagement! We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening, or a nicer couple to get back in the saddle with again.
