Another fun and informative tour on Saturday. I learned quite a lot from a newly transplanted Rochesterian from New Jersey! He'd like to walk again when there are more people with whom he can interact. Any takers for the Halloween weekend?
Restaurants do so much more than feed us. Restaurants are the lifeblood of the Rochester community, they add to our local culture, and they are important for re...sidents and visitors alike. In the wake of the pandemic, Rochester restaurants need your support now more than ever. Whether you dine in, or take out, support your local Rochester restaurants. #visitROC
370 acres along East Avenue and the entire Park Avenue neighborhood are listed in the National Registry of Historic Neighborhoods. Learn more on an engaging walking tour. Visit somethingsafoot-roch.com to arrange a tour.
Thrilled to host a group from downstate who were visiting the beautiful Finger Lakes region and added the Some Things Afoot tour to their trip! Engaging conversation distracted me from taking any pictures, but we enjoyed a delightful Autumn walk through the Park avenue and NOTA neighborhoods.
Some Things Afoot is one of the top ten tours in "Things to Do in Rochester" according to Trip Advisor. Thanks to all who have taken the tour and given it high marks! We're available year 'round, but late summer and early fall is a beautiful season. Contact me for a walkabout at www.somethingsafoot-roch.com.
Detected some things afoot with a lovely family from Fairport. Masks did not take anything away from our enjoyable companionship.
We live in a beautiful part of the world, and this is our back yard.
So if there are few options for entertainment, why not take a leisurely walk with me through the Park Avenue and NOTA areas? The history and architecture alone are worth the time, plus it's fun. Enlighten yourself (and a few friends) with a free guided tour at www.somethingsafoot-roch.com.
For anyone interested in the Some Things Afoot tour but need to adhere to social distancing (I swear I'll keep a six foot distance if you walk with me), just email me at www.somethingasafoot-roch.com and I will email you a PDF to take it as a self-guided walkabout.
May the road rise up to meet you and may the wind be always at your back. Generally happens on a March tour. Come join me at www.somethingsafoot-roch.com
A most enjoyable brisk March morning walk with new friends from Texas. Thanks to Reggie and Sandy for the great company and opportunity to share my love of Rochester.
First tour of our fourth season. Thank you Lin and Debbie for a great February walkabout. You were enjoyable companions.
Weird weather for January, but the tour is available for those who would enjoy a brisk walkabout.Weird weather for January, but the tour is available for those who would enjoy a brisk walkabout.
