REMINDER! Due to the recent rise in COVID infections in and around Yorktown over the past months, our American Legion Hall has closed until further notice. All December events, including our scheduled December 20 Sunday Fundraiser Breakfast have been cancelled. Our AL Post and SAL Squadron have made this decision to help keep our Post members and our community members safe. Thank you all so much for your past support. We hope to be able to run our breakfast next month. Please watch this page for updated information. We wish wish al our members and community a very Blessed and Merry Christmas! Please stay safe!

Hello Yorktown! After much discussion and option exploration, we have just received permission to hold a "Reverse Veteran's Day Parade' on Sunday November 8 at 1:PM. PLEASE read the information and instructions below carefully and share this info with as many folks as you can! LETS HONOR YORKTOWN"S VETERANS TOGETHER! Sunday November 8, 2020, 1-3PM:

WE ARE BACK! With restrictions loosened, SAL Squadron 1009 will resume our monthly Breakfast Fundraiser, with modifications. Come out and join us for our next monthly breakfast fundraiser on Sunday October 18, 2020 held at the American Legion Post #1009 9am-11am; Pancakes, eggs, bacon and all the trimmings. 50% seating capacity: we suggest making a reservation, at [email protected] or-914-980-5267. Masks (while not seated) and social distancing will be observed. Waiter table service will be provided. So come out for great food and please support the squadron in our Mission of helping veterans programs and active military or even meet a Veteran. Please share and spread the word.
