With Kobe and Gianna Bryant's deaths today and the outpouring of grief, I thought it was important to share this article from What's Your Grief. Studies have shown that petting a dog during stressful time can boost serotonin and dopamine levels, while lowering stress and blood pressure. Sometimes all it takes is a wet nose to offer comfort to grieving families.
