The owner of South Ave also owns a shop a block away on Elmwood. We would like to thank all of our customers for donating!! Today we were open for Tony Joseph's donating for his fight for Cancer. It was a fantastic day and we truly appercaite everyone who came in and got their cars serviced today. The employees worked for free and all the supplies and labor was donated to Tony in FULL. We also appreciate the customers who stopped in these past weeks to donate money to Tony e...ven though they couldn't be here today with us. Thank you for all your support and kindness. You all are AWESOME. If anyone missed why we did this... our technician Rob Joseph is one of our Certified Technicians at Clar's Elmwood Automotive and has been a part of our team going on almost 3 years. His brother Tony Joseph came down with cancer and has been going through treatment. We wanted to support our work family and be open on a Saturday for donations and donate all proceeds to Tony. We succeeded and we were able to raise a little over $1,117. For Tony today. We felt it was neccessary to not reimburse ourselves for parts or supplies. We wanted to fully donate everything to his cause.. Cancer is something that is not choosen.. everyone knows this and if you or anyone you know or family has had it or have loved someone with it, it is a very devastating experience.. it is not easy on family and friends.. we believe that every little bit counts. Even though today is done and over, we will still happily accept donations for Tony if you come in asking to donate. Every little bit helps.. even if its 1 cent.. thank you for all your support and kindness during this time. Elmwood will be open Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm, closed Saturday and Sundays.
