NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS TOWN OF BYRON October 27 and 28, 2020 November 17 and 18, 2020 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Byron will hold a series of Public Hearings regarding the adoption of a Local Law to amend the Zoning Law of the Town of Byron to regulate the installation of Solar Panels or any devices designed to convert Solar Energy to electricity.... The Hearings will be held on October 27 and 28 and November 17 and 18, 2020, at the South Byron Fire Hall on Route 237 in the Town of Byron at 7:00pm. Attendance at each meeting, will be limited to a total occupancy in the South Byron Fire Hall to fifty (50) persons. Residents of the Town of Byron wishing to attend the Hearing will be required to sign a request form which is available at the Lobby of the Town Clerk’s Office, 7028 Byron Holley Road. Only persons signing the request form will be permitted to attend a hearing. The first forty (40) members of the public to sign the request form will be permitted to attend the Hearing to be held on October 27, 2020. The second forty (40) members of the public who sign up will be permitted to attend the meeting to be held October 28, 2020, and should more than eighty (80) members of the public sign up to be heard, they will be permitted to attend the meeting of November 17, 2020, and if more than one hundred twenty (120) members of the public signup they will be permitted to attend the meeting on November 18, 2020. Should less than eighty (80) members of the public sign up to be heard, the Town Board reserves the right to cancel any meeting for which there are to be no attendees. Members of the public will not be permitted to sign up for the hearings scheduled in November unless and until more than 80 persons sign up for the Hearings to be held in October. No member of the public shall be permitted to attend any Hearing more than once. ALL PERSONS ATTENDING THE PUBLIC HEARING ARE REQUIRED TO OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING AND TO WEAR MASKS COVERING THEIR NOSES AND MOUTHS OR WEAR A FACE SHEILD COVERING THEIR ENTIRE FACE.
