Thank you so much to all of our community, families, and friends who have reached out asking how you can help, shared, donated (money, clothes, shoes - everything!), helped with clean up, delivered a meal etc. You all are amazing! As promised on the news last week (thanks again @ FOX 40 News WICZ-TV ) We have 1 more big event for their family, a spaghetti dinner benefit! FB event is being created! ... "Family is family. Whether it's one you start with, the one you end up with, or the family you gain along the way" - unknown. Yesterday morning, Wednesday, April 28th, one of our Cheer families had a devastating house fire. Christina and Jim Benedict and their four kids, Charisma, Brooke, Tommy, and Kenzie lost everything, including their pets. While the red cross is working with them to help get them placement, they will still need assistance with everyday items. We have kn...own this family as part of our own for 7 years; they would give the shirt off their backs to anyone in need. The kindness and joy that these kids offer to everyone who knows them is awe-inspiring, and our hearts ache as they go through this difficult time.
