The Southern Tier USBC board of directors has decided to hold elections for the ST-USBC Hall of Fame for the 2020-2021 season using the absentee ballot option instead of having our normal breakfast meeting. Current Hall of Fame members will be receiving an email with instructions (or snail mail ballot for those not having an email on file).

Congratulations to ST-USBC Hall of Fame member Dick Harvey for bowling is 40th 300 during the Friends of Al Randesi league at Midway Lanes this past Friday.

There are plenty of openings in this tournament in Utica the next 2 weekends for bowlers over 50. Please contact the NYS USBC Association Manager - Angelo Corradino to reserve your spot.

Reminder to League Secretaries. Please complete your paper work and get your USBC cards submitted to the Association Office. For Sanctioned leagues all league members and Subs should have a card on file with USBC. Even if they have already paid through another league they need to fill out a card for your league as well.

ST-USBC Youth Program Leaders If you have a bowler that has turned 18 prior to Aug 1 and is still in High School and still wants to bowl in your Youth Program - they will need to certify as an Adult and take the Safe Sport Training. You will also have to certify your program as Adult / Youth. It would be a good idea to specify in your rules that any adult (youth over 18) that wants to bowl in your program must still be in High School.
