South New Berlin Horseshoe Club

I know it doesn't look that way outside, but Spring is here so it's time to think about pitching horseshoes. On Sat., April 16, our new President Joe Miller would like as many as possible to show up for a work day to put the bathrooms back together. If memory serves me right, 10 a.m.... Also, practice will be the last Wednesday in April, the 27th. We will start pitching May 4 and finish up Aug. 31. Please pass this information along to your partner since I don't have email addresses for everybody. It looks like we have some new teams signed up already, but if anyone needs a partner or has another team, let me know. See you soon! Sheryl

End of season cleanup crew! See you all in the Spring!!

It’s the end of another season. Tonight was the banquet. The food was great, as always. Thank you to Butch and the staff at Taylor’s Country House. Everyone who attended had a good time. We missed the members that could not be there tonight. And we especially missed club member, Ernie Stagaman. You were there in our hearts, Ernie. We had a great year. It was a lot of fun. And we didn’t have any Wednesdays that were completely rained out! We will have our final work/clean ...up day on Saturday, Oct. 10th, at 11:00. Rick has turned the Presidency over to Joe Miller, and Larry Loomis will take Gomer’s position as Vice-PresidentLarry wasn’t there tonight, so hopefully someone will tell him before he reads it. If not.SURPRISE, LARRY! It was funny how that worked out.They needed a new Vice-President and Roger said Larry’s name and that he would do it, and right away it was unanimously voted on and done! Turns out they didn’t need Larry there after all! They made his mind up all on their own! We’d like to thank everyone who helped in the kitchen with donations, or food, or their time, etc. Thank you to Sheryl and Cindy for being our therapists and solving all our problems.
