After much deliberation, we have decided to end our insurance participation with Healthplex administered Medicaid and managed care plans, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western NY effective September 9, 2020. Unfortunately, being a participating provider for these plans is becoming harder for us. We have always maintained a high standard of care for our patients, and have been unwilling to compromise or cut corners just because of insurance company shortco...mings. What does this mean for you? You can continue to receive your dental care at our office, however we will not be able to submit claims to these insurance companies. We have very competitive rates for dental services, and accept many forms of payment including care credit. If you chose to switch to a different providers office, we suggest you reach out to your insurance company to ensure they are an network with these plans. On September 9th our normal office hours will change to: Monday: 8:30am-5:00pm Wednesday: 8:30am-5:00pm Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm You will continue to receive high quality dental care from Dr. Rush, Shannon, Sarah, and Jean. Great news! We have been working hard to prepare our business for reopening during this pandemic, and tomorrow we are ready to welcome you back. As with most things during these times, you will notice a few changes within our office. When you arrive for your dental appointment, please come alone as guests will not be permitted in our waiting room. Our waiting room with be distanced with a limited number of chairs. It is sanitized with hospital grade cleaning products often. M...asks are REQUIRED to enter our waiting room, and must be worn until you are in the chair beside your provider. When you arrive, please check in with Misti and she will take and record your temperature. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire about any health concerns or symptoms you may be experiencing. Sanitized pens will be provided. Please do not come into the office if you are ill, or experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms. You will notice your provider will be wearing more protective equipment to protect both of you from illness. We are so happy to welcome all of our patients back to the practice. We are working hard to reschedule patients who missed their recall appointments, and to accommodate any new patients to the practice. Great news! We’re now offering cosmetic services, such as the in office whitening shown here. Misti, our Front Office worker, was Dr. Rush’s first patient to receive the treatment. She went up 6 shades, in just a 30 minute appointment. Call the office today to ask about our GLO whitening system.
