Woo Hoo! We are grateful to the MAP Fund for its support of Misdemeanor Dream, our ongoing theater-dance project of the between worlds that has been in Muriel Miguel's mind's eye for 25 years or more. We are resilient! Onward!

Today we are grieving the loss of our beautiful son, Kevin Tarrant ( Hopi/Ho-Chunk). Kevin was an artist, activist and teacher - a spirited leader in the New York City Native community and beyond. In our first rehearsals of Women in Violence, when he was about nine years old, he and his best friend Lance were always together, peeking around the corner to see what we were doing. They learned all the dirty jokes and knew all the stories. Then they would go off somewhere and a...ct out all the parts. They were pretty funny. Kevin was a good man, a kind and generous man, a creative and talented man. He always empowered and inspired others and made a space for them. He had an unbelievably beautiful voice, a gift that he shared with us and so many others. His family was the center of his life and he loved Murielle and Josephine passionately. His light is bright and not extinguished. He shares it now with his mom, grandmother and brothers. Rest in peace, Kevin. We love you. See more
