Spiral River is offering a 7-week group for women who have experienced sexual harm or sexual abuse that will focus on mind/body skills for effective healing, resiliency, self-awareness and empowerment. Contact Dena Adler for details or to register.

Mindfulness for Grief and Loss Therapy Group - Facilitated by Kara Juszczak and Lisa Maynard. This will be a 90 minute weekly co-ed closed group for up to 12 pe...ople 16+ years old. This group will be held Thursday 4pm-5:30pm starting 9/27 for eight weeks at 20 North Goodman Street 14607. Although grief can apply to many different types of loss, this group will be most appropriate for people who have lost a loved one by death at any point in their life and continue to heal through grief. Psychoeducation, process, and mindfulness skill-building will be used to cope with the experience of grief and loss. Yoga therapy will also be a part of each session. No previous mindfulness or yoga experience required; modifications will be made, so appropriate for all levels of physical abilities. Here's the link to pass along to patients!
