On this day, 60 years, Dr. Richard Staehr was born. Happy birthday to our local veterinarian

*PLEASE READ: To the clients of Springport Veterinary Service and community. Our small clinic has experienced verbal abuse, accusations, and false informative posts about our practices. During a surgical procedure, a dog past away suddenly, and Dr. Staehr took the necessary measures to save the dog, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done. Before any surgery, clients are aware of the risks of anesthesia and they sign a consent to surgery form regarding anesth...esia. Even though the risk is small, they can still happen to any pet. We are deeply sorry for the family’s loss of their pet, but with all due respect Dr. Staehr does not deserve to be verbally attacked. Dr. Staehr has been dedicated to serve this community for over 25 years and it has never been slandered in such a ruthless manner. Nobody should endure this experience. Therefore we are asking you to disregard any claims until we receive the final report.

Good afternoon clients. During the week of August 23rd - August 28th, Dr. Staehr’s practice will be closed. The clinic will reopen on August 30th. Thank you and have a nice day
