With the holiday season fast approaching and the number of COVID-positive cases on the rise in our region, it is important that we are being mindful of the health, safety, and well-being of not only ourselves but also our family and friends, during what is typically a time for travel, large gatherings, and celebrations. We are here today to remind you of good practices and behaviors to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Stay Home, Practice Social Distancing. Even if you feel well, stay at home as much as possible. In public, keep at least 6 feet distance from others. When out in public, wear a mask properly covering both your nose and mouth. Wash your hands, cover your cough. An important point to communicate is the idea of Living Room Spread. In NYS, 70% of recent COVID-positive cases have been from small, private home gatherings. PLEASE, we encourage you to stay home with those from your household only. What we do today will indeed make an impact on our COVID-19 outlook, good, bad, or otherwise, and may help in preventing further restrictions or shutdowns. Please stay safe, continue good habits of wearing your mask, social distancing, and washing your hands AND if you haven’t done so already, get a flu shot. We would just like to thank Dr. Hansen for the care he gives to his patients. I just celebrated my 30th birthday. Thanks to Dr. Hansen’s dedication as a doctor,... he was able to diagnose me with hydrocephalus in late 91’.
