Happy Feast of Saint Simon and Saint Jude! Saint Simon the Zealot was one of the original followers of Christ known for his adherence to Jewish and Canaanite La...w. After Christ's Ascension, he spread the Gospel to the land of Egypt and Persia. Saint Jude was the Brother of James the Lesser and also an original follower of Christ! He is the patron Saint of Lost Causes and his intercession is often sought after by college students during finals week! Church Traditions holds that he was martyred in Persia alongside Saint Simon. Saints Simon and Jude, Pray for us!
