St. Paul's

Dear St. Paul’s Family, On November 15 we had a voter’s meeting with just one item on the agenda to vote on whether or not to issue a call to Rev. Daniel Buringrud to remain as our pastor. Pastor Dan has served St. Paul’s for 5 years now, but because of a series of unusual circumstances he never had an official divine call to serve here. The voter’s meeting that was begun on Nov. 15 was reconvened yesterday, Nov. 23, at 4:45. Rev. Derek Cheek, our conference dean, came to count the votes in the presence of members of the church council. The result of the vote is that Pastor Dan was asked to remain with us and has accepted the call to continue to serve St. Paul’s. Please continue to keep St. Paul’s, Pastor Dan and Cheryl, and our community in your prayers.

Friends, 2020 has been a year like no other, and one most of us would just as soon forget. Many things have been taken from us, including many longtime traditions, like Fall Fest. Well, 2020 will not take the St. Paul's Spaghetti Supper from us! The way we do it will have to change, but you can still get that delicious Spaghetti Dinner at a great price. This coming Saturday, November 21, from 4:30-6:30 St. Paul's will have a drive through Spaghetti Dinner!
