Today we are saying a bittersweet goodbye to Hernán Lopez. Hernán has been with Stacks for four whole years! Since the moment the Broadway shop opened. Not only is he an amazing barista, but he’s also been roasting all our coffee since we bought our roaster almost exactly one year ago. These are a handful of pictures that really embody Hernán’s energy. We’re so excited for him to start his own shop and we will miss him dearly! We’ve got two new Ethiopian coffees to share with you today! This one is our Halo Hartume, a washed stunner from the famed Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. We taste sweet cherry, Concord grape, hibiscus florals, and a smooth, silky body. Available in store and online!

Today we’ve got two new Ethiopian coffees to share with you! This is our Banko Gotiti, a beautifully clean naturally processed coffee from the Gedeb area of the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. We taste ripe plum and blackberry with a nice, juicy body. This coffee is a beautiful example of why natural Ethiopian coffees make people's eyes pop open and have their specialty coffee lightbulb moment. Available in store and online!

Both our Lark Street and Broadway shops will be open regular hours today (8am-2pm). All the tips given to Portia on Lark Street today will be donated to the Native American Heritage Association. It’s the last day of summer! So, naturally we are rolling out our fall menu today. Stop by either shop from 8-2 to try our Pumpkin Latte, our Pumpkin Chai, Cinnamon Bun Latte, Mulled Apple Cider, or Apple Crumble tea today! All seasonal beverages can be made hot or iced, and can be made vegan.
